14th March- Under inspect mode " Completed"
IRCC Secure account: Not able to link new application but could see the old application status
Old application status updated: 19th March- " your document is invalid" -- hinting print of the new card

22nd March- Card received

Total working days (applied to received): 15 days

Documents submitted:

1. Covering letter explaining list of documents
2. Residency: School report card front page 2 years, Skate Canada report card- one available, NoA one parent - 2 years as a single pdf
3. Parents ID proof and Birth Certificate in other document
4. The rest of the documents as per the application portal requirements. (PR card, Passport new and Old, health card etc.)

You can check the mandatory checklist document( imm5644e) . This is a compulsory document where you can find what documents you need to submit. Also, check the drop-down list to see what document is relevant to you.

• Residence obligation proof: A single PDF with the following documents.:
  • Elementary Progress Report Card first page (available).
  • Canada Child Benefit (CCB)
  • Skate Canada report card.
• New(renewed) Passport as a primary document.
• Old Passport uploaded as the Travel document.
• Identity documents: Health card ( since no other document for minor)
• Receipt of payment of fees.
• PR Card front and back
• Birth Certificate of Minor
• Parents ID: single PDF

UPDATE #3: finally received card in the mail today (Mar 21), with a postmark of Mar 13 on the envelope. So seems like there is a few days delay between the mail date indicated on the tracker (Mar 9) and the actual postmark date.

Hello Friends,
I am submitting the PR renewal application for my Dad who is 72. He has been in Canada for more than 730 days already. I am not too sure about the PoR documents that need to be submitted. I have all the NoA's for him since 2019 when he bacame PR in Canada. what else are you submitting for your parents? Pharmacy receipts? Govt. Checks he received for HST?

Hello everyone. I submitted my PR renewal application on May 4th for myself and my son. My husband submitted his application on May 10th. On May 13th I saw that our applications moved to “completed status” using inspect trick. However, my husband and I had both rejection because of the photo. Mine was that it doesn’t meet the photo requirements, smiling/teeth, lighting…”. For my husband, it was because of photographer stamp and date were missing while they are not.
today, I found the PR card for my husband and my son in the mailbox but mine was not there.
I have not received any rejection letter from IRCC.
What do you think my card was not sent?
GCkey shows that my application has been linked successfully but I can only see my old card details.
FYI, my application was submitted with urgency because of business trips.
anyone has a clue ?

PR Renew application date: May 11, 2024
May 17 ( today): That is still Submitted status in the portal, but inspect mode: Completed with the Primary identification is not provided as below. But, I am pretty sure, I provided the Passport/ ID/ PR card copy. What does this primary ID not provided mean? Is this a system error, or do I really need to provide the primary ID details again?

You can call IRCC and ask for PR card application number
