Activity status updated - Citizenship oath ceremony invitation (scheduled February 27 2024) (my wife only): February 13 2024
I completed my Citizenship test and passed on January 15th 2024 and, despite all areas including the test showing as "In progress" on my tracker, IRCC informed me on the phone today that the test does show as complete and passed on their end. they could not provide any explanation or remedy for the fact that our applications appear to have been split up, nor why we were not informed of this as prior IRCC website information indicates should happen.
We are currently trying to figure out whether my wife should proceed as invited with the Oath ceremony or whether we can submit a request to postpone given that - per IRCC instructions - the whole reason we submitted a family/group application was so we could take our oaths together. That of course is ultimately less important than us both completing the process, whether together or individually.
Can anyone shed any insights or advice on this from their experience?
At any rate if there is no further progress, I will call IRCC again after March 11th, being the 15 month point since we submitted.
I am also Dec 22 application, no change in status since May 2023. Contacted MP as well but got a standard response back.I am waiting.
What's the date you submitted your application?I am also Dec 22 application, no change in status since May 2023. Contacted MP as well but got a standard response back.
I'm Dec 22 applicant, still stuck at BG. Don't know when will things progress....I am also Dec 22 application, no change in status since May 2023. Contacted MP as well but got a standard response back.
BG usually is the first to complete. Consider applying for CSIS notes to find out about BG.I'm Dec 22 applicant, still stuck at BG. Don't know when will things progress....
In the tracker it is showing January 27 2023 as the Application filed date. What's the date you submitted your application?
Not that, because that's your AOR date. The date when you signed the application. In the tracker it is showing January 27 2023 as the Application filed date.
I think that’s December 10 2022.Not that, because that's your AOR date. The date when you signed the application.
So you will complete 15 months on March 10th. Give IRCC a call on March 11th and tell them that you completed the 15 month processing time. Hopefully that will help you as it did for me.I think that’s December 10 2022.
