If you click the link it will give you option to download the app. Better do that as the webclient has limited features.Hello, people who've already done the citizenship oath by video. Do you need to download the zoom app or can you just click and enter via the link?
Thanks!
I think you got the wrong impression. Most of the ceremonies are still online. If you select any location you won't see more than 2-3 days in a month hosting in-person ceremony. Based on your postal code, IRCC won't ask you to attend in-person ceremony 5 hrs away from your homeI can see the recent trend that most of citizenship ceremonies are now placed in-person, not virtual.
My husband is awaiting for oath invitation now and our family lives in a small city approx. 4-5 hours away from Vancouver (and his application is being processed by Vancouver office). and wondering no matter how far we live from Vancouver, is he likely to be invited to in-person ceremony located somewhere in Vancouver, or can the ceremony be virtual, or maybe IRCC will be generous to assign the ceremony place to the closest city to where we live? Anybody has any similar experience?
From what I have seen so far, most of the oath ceremonies are virtual/online. My friend had hers done recently, it was online. Very few are in-person. In my opinion, Best thing to do is, wait for your the oath-invite letter and check if it’s online or in-person. Because, chances are…it might be online/virtual. FYI, if you won’t be able to attend the ceremony, it will need to be rescheduled. And good luck with re-scheduling, it might take months and can delay your applications.I can see the recent trend that most of citizenship ceremonies are now placed in-person, not virtual.

If they are unsure about the status they might call you for an interview and onus would be on you to prove it.Hello all, I am posting here for the first time!
I applied with 1133 days of physical presence. Some of it are days when I was under maintained status while applying for a PGWP after I completed my degree while my student visa was still valid.
I know there are a couple of threads about it, but is there anybody who applied with maintained status time and that perhaps got their LPP completed? Stressing out that the reason why it is taking so long for LPP is that they need to verify my status during the maintained status.
Cheers and good luck to all who are still waiting on their LPPs!
