4-5 days. Check BLS site henceforth for updates.

I might be a bit late in replying. But I wanted to provide a bit of reassurance. I was one of those people who sent in a postal application to BLS Brampton. However, I did not consult this website. It would have saved me a lot of headaches. To answer your questions -
1. My spouse signed his passport copy and it was not questioned by BLS.
2. The place I live in.
3. I put one physical photo in the envelope.
4. I did not send either, because I was applying on the basis of self as root connection to India, not my spouse's.
5. This is the one question I actually experienced and went through a rollercoaster. I kept an eye on the BLS tracker and when it said there is one missing information, (I think I missed the part about saying "Yes" to previous citizenship being Indian or something like that), I emailed BLS postal department They promptly replied. They asked me to redo the whole application and upload the same set of documents in the OCI website. But I just had to email them a copy of the new application with corrections. The rollercoaster was however, that no one responded after that, and one fine Saturday, someone phoned me to give me the same information that I need to redo the application. I told them that it was in their email and that was that. Next business day BLS tracker updated to re sent the application to CGI.
I already got my OCI in hand, so the process does work, you don't have to go physically to reapply or correct mistakes.

Hi,
I given documents to consulate staff when they organized a camp, and acknowledge date is Nov 21 but still no update. Vancouver jurisdiction applies to me. Is there anyone who applied around Nov 20 and got some updates?

Thanks - QQ: What is OCI Acknowledgement date people are talking about? Is it when I first got the email from BLS that they received my postal application from Purolator? Or is it the date that will show on Gov. OCI Portal?

OCI Acknowledgement date is the date your application which shows in OCI portal after 25days of submission in BLS. This is as per the current trend and it can vary anytime

Has anyone travelled on e-Visa to India and then got their OCI cards couriered back home to India via DHL or FedEx? Does that work?

Where do you get this detailed information from? Is there a website or tracker?
