I have applied for my mother in Nov 02, 2023. Got her biometric done by Nov 30, 2023. Her medical was done on Jan 04, 2024. Because of her medical history with TB, she had to provide sputum samples for further tests. We were told that at IOM Islamabad the test reports for these samples take 56 days and she was given her next appointment for April 04, 2024. Now in the mean time we got an email from Regional Medical Officer for further medical information and we were asked to schedule a medical appointment with in 30 days, which comes way before April 04, 2024. So we called IOM Islamabad to get us an early appointment but they told us that they can only schedule an appointment once the test results are here. They mentioned that we shouldn't be worried about the email from Regional medical officer. I am not sure what to do now. Has any one been through similar situation?

Hey Everyone!

I have made my questions a bit more straightforward in hope to get a response;

I intend to apply online via new IRCC portal for supervisa for my mother while I am in Canada and she is in Pakistan.

Now, I seem to have two options;

1. I use the new IRCC Portal (from Canada), with my mother's credentials based on her own email address*

*Can I make a portal account in her name and fill her application from my computer in Canada as in she would be filling it herself from inside Pakistan?
Would it be a red flag if portal account creation and application is filled from a Canadian Ip address while using my mother's credentials?

2. Use the new IRCC Portal, with my own credentials based on my own email address and get my mother to make me an unpaid representative by signing the form imm5476e**

**If i become her representative, how do I fill in this application from my account?
Still as my mother answering all the questions or me speaking on her behalf while using my ircc account/credenitals?

I have the same concern, what did you do finally? option 1 or 2
I know someone who did option 1, and her parents got the visa, but I am afraid with the Canadian IP address if ircc can get it.

Let’s keep posted if there is any update. I have seen some late September applicants have got their decisions. Looks like it’s now October turn. However, some parents application got approved who applied in late December.
