Has anyone received update from Niagara office regarding oath ceremony on or after 15th December, 2023 ?

My timeline for the citizenship application:

Should I send an email to NGF ? Any suggestions.

Today, I emailed the Niagara office to inquire about my and my family's oath ceremony. My husband needs to plan a work trip, and I requested information about whether we'll have the ceremony within the next month. This is the answer:
"Thank you for your email. You and your family have been scheduled for a ceremony in less than a month, you will be receiving the invitations with more information regarding the ceremony closer the scheduled date.
We advise not to make travel plans until you have attended the oath ceremony and your application has been closed.
Ensure you are monitoring your inbox and junk mail for your invitation."

Two hours after that email I received the letter with the instructions on how to download the e-certificate. The Citizenship ceremony has not not started yet.

I just cleared LPP and wanted to get some estimates on when I'll get scheduled with an Oath appointment.

i just received an email with instructions to download my e certificate but my oath ceremony status still says "not started". did anyone else experienced something similar? also we are three people but the invitation code is same for all three of us. so one portal will let us download citizenship certificate for all three of us?

I got the email to create an account to download e-certificate on Saturday. But no tracker progress or email regarding oath ceremony. When did you get your oath ceremony status updated please?

Update as of today, January 9, 2024: citizenship ceremony is "in progress" and is scheduled for January 23rd. I received the formal invitation email today for the online ceremony as well.

Finally had our oath today - would we get a confirmation email after sending the oath form? PDF instructions were to send an email with a specific subject but the clerk on the call just wanted us to reply to the email.

I took the photos (saw my ID photo and myself on the screen) and approved them but when I downloaded the ID photo, it was all black. I completed the test as the system was working and got the temporary pass results. Should I worry about the ID photo? And should I contact with the Niagara office? Thank you very much.

Hi, we seem to have the same time-line. I got a ghost update today. Oath still not in progress. I am guessing will hear something soon. Did you hear anything yet?. Thanks

They will contact you if they not satisfied with the photo. You need not contact them. As such it's not easy to contact them.
