But how can he start a job in Canada without an approved LMIA and applied for a closed work permit. You said he entered Canada as a visitor but has a job that starts next week. How did he get a LMIA and closed work permit? It takes months. Is he working illegally?
So illegally if he entered as a visitor, and doesn’t have a LMIA or approved work permit. What is your intention when you get to Canada since he is an illegal worker? Kids cannot go to school. You cannot work. How will you survive?
Your story makes no sense. You said he entered Canada two weeks ago but now it is 3 months. He cannot work until his work permit is approved. Assume he had a LMIA for it. It can take 4-5 months. So he cannot start on January 2. Your applications may be refused because he is clearly trying to stay and work in Canada. All you can do is wait.
