Visitor Visa for Infant

Hey - I need some information in regard to visitor visa for infants. Here are some background and facts.

1. I am looking for a visitor visa for my son who is 2 months old (Infant).
2. Me and my wife both have Canada Visitor visa but never travelled there. However, we don't live in India.

Currently, we are in India and I was thinking to submit an application for my son from here only and give Biometrics (if required).

My questions are:
1. Biometrics needed for infant's visitor visa?
2. If Biometrics needed, can I give biometrics in India and later send the passport for stamping from other country where we actually live?
2. Can I use the my GCKey account from which I have applied mine and my wife's visa?

Infant doesn’t need biometrics. Yes, you can apply through your GCKey account.

Yes, you can get passport stamping in another country.

If you aren’t employed and living permanently in India then there could be concerns that you are trying to move to Canada with your child. It is very rare to apply for a TRV for an infant unless there are reasons to travel relatively soon. Is there a reason you want to travel with such a young infant? It would be best if you applied when you had settled back into your home and were back to work.
