Hello, A friend of mine is in India, her husband did not show, he is married while applying for PR, also is now a Canadian citizen, has a 16 year old daughter.

If the authorities would come to know, would he be sent back? Projecting a single status here, he is romancing the women here, fooling abd exploiting them emotionally. What would the outcome be if the govt comes to know?

He has no intention if bringing the family here , he is having a balk, litetally!!

Sorry what is your question? Don’t understand what you are trying to ask. Friend is in India and in relationship or married to a Canadian PR with a daughter. What is the issue?

Just keep in mind its not easy and the situation you mentioned may or may not have impact on the citizenship if there is no misrepresentation during application.

If someone knowingly misrepresents an application (and not listing family cannot be some kind of "honest mistake"), the status granted, and any subsequent status, including citizenship, will be considered void, as if it was never granted in the first place. The best case scenario here would be to simply be put, once IRCC finds out, on the first plane out of Canada, but there's a chance there's also prosecution (misrepresentation is a crime!) and a heavy fine awaiting...
So yeah, your "friend" shouldn't have hidden any information...

Sorry, if the question was unclear. The guy got his citizenship, all along being married with a 15 year old daughter as well.
He was married, when he applied for the citizenship.
What repercursions can this lie have?
