Hey, I had an Oath ceremony Yesterday, and I am now waiting for my E-certificate to download. Could you please let me know if and when you can do so?

Which office? Also please let us know whenever you are able to download your certificate.

Update: I had forgotten to provide police certificates from the US so I received an email from the Calgary immigration office asking for it. I provided that and received an update a week later that my application was up-to date.

West Office.
No they didn’t but during my communication with them I told them the date I would be returning from my trip

10-27 was a fake system update. no news yet. My timeline is very similar to you and waiting for LPP

From a technical perspective, are you a Canadian citizen immediately the oath ceremony is completed? or do you remain a PR until you receive the certificate or e-certificate of citizenship (which is pretty much your proof of citizenship on paper in writing) ? @legalfalcon

As soon as you do your oath you are a citizen. But you need the certificate as a proof of citizenship. So technically, you are a citizen. But in practice, you need the certificate.

Great news for me today. Update was on November7th. Reflected in tracker today, November 9th.
I still have not received my GCMS notes. The 30 days ends next Wednesday so we will see... I suspect I will get it either today or tomorrow now that an update is here.

I have the same... our oath is scheduled for Nov 28 (for parents + minor)
