Hey Guys!

If i don't want to claim any points for my spouse's education, what should i enter for this question: "Has X finished high school or any higher education (including university, college or vocational training)? "
My spouse has a bachelor's ECA from WES but since i have sufficient points, i don't want to include the spouse's education to keep my profile simple and avoid any ADR later.
Also for my understanding, if i do say yes to "Has X had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) within the past five years for this degree, diploma or certificate?" would i be required to authorize WES to send the document to IRCC or just attach the ECA report post-ITA?

Can anyone please guide me?
Thanks

Since you have ECA, add the education with the ECA. Saying that your spouse has no degree is a misrepresentation.

About your last question, read the forum to see how WES evaluation works.

I have the ECA WES report for my spouse's master's back home which equated to 4 years bachelor's. what should i say about the level of education? Would it be a master's or bachelor's (as per WES)?
Do i also need to mention a bachelor's education or mentioning the highest education is sufficient?

Assuming that your spouse had two degrees(bachelors + masters) - see the right options in GCKey, I think you should fall under "Two or more degrees..." option.

Why would it be two or more degrees when there is an option to pick masters and my spouse has a masters? just trying to think

If WES evaluated your masters as bachelors then you can't select masters. No other options will apply in your case if my previous comment applies to your spouse either.

There is another field that asks what WES evaluated your degree to, there i have selected it as a bachelors but in the level of education i selected masters.
Am i doing it wrong?

To better understand, do one thing, see what CRS score your EE profile shows you right now with it being masters. The compare it with CRS calculator and use "Two or more degrees..." option. Your CRS should be the former, if it is higher right now - you've done something wrong.

ok so i have entered level of education as masters and in ECA i have mentioned the equivalence is bachelors. Now when i calculated CRS using the tool with highest level of education of bachelors for ECA, it gives me the same score

Maybe dependent's point don't get impacted much. Keep in mind that you don't have a masters degree for your spouse (as per WES). So, do correct that wherever you can.

Yes! My spouse only has bachelors equivalency for the masters done back home but her degree has masters written on it and that is her highest level of education.
so thats what I mentioned when submitting EE profile the level of education is masters but ECA for it is bachelors. Does that make sense ? Not sure if i am able to convey my point
