Hello!!!! OMG!! It went so welll! I got my positive decision on the table. I have been sleeping cos I was so exhausted!! The member was such a nice ,calm and sympathetic lady. My hearing took about 2 hours from beginning to end. It was all about my story and background. Thank you for the tips and reaching out. I am so happy!!

Well, i am so scared and tensed that i am unable to speak. My hearing is next week and i am not prepared at all. Did you use interpreter or not ?
What kind of questions i am expecting. I have a very lengthy story and lots of dates. Need prayers
congratulations on the successful hearing. I had the same feeling when I did my in-person hearing in Dec 2020. I waited extra 1 month before I got my positive decision. My PR was process within 10months. I pray yours is also fast. Once again, congratulations and welcome to Canada.

I know its not easy to not be tensed or nervous but trust me getting one or two dates wrong won't be that bad. Make a timeline on google doc and go over it multiple times. If youre still unsure during the hearing always say "i think" or "im not sure if i am recalling it correct but i think it was.."
nope. I have 2 dependents inside Canada. From when I submitted my application to collection of PR cards is about 10months.

No but it depends on your case. Usually its just one hearing but if the board member needs more information they might schedule a second one. I received my hearing letter exactly after 15 months of applying. Goodluck!
