@hssrp, this morning, i received an email from IRCCon how to account creation and download of the electronic certificate. I have not received an invitation for the ceremony and I have no update on my tracker. Is this normal? Please advise. Thank you.

It’s been 3 weeks since my prohibition was completed. I haven’t received any updates from IRCC and the call center seems not to have any reasonable answer when I called. Does anyone else have similar experience? It is nerve wrenching waiting for update.

Who else is still waiting for Oath ceremony date after prohibition was completed?

All steps are completed except for the citizenship ceremony which shows “Not started”. Did you receive the other date in an email or it was on the tracker?

congratulations to you. I checked my tracker now and my prohibitions was updated to complete this morning. Now waiting for the oath date. It’s been an interesting journey so far.

Is anyone still waiting for prohibition to be completed? Mine has been in progress for more than a month now. I ordered the GCMS notes yesterday to get more visibility on the application. I’m still waiting for feedback. I’m so anxiously waiting.

Hello everyone and happy new year. My application has been stuck on Prohibitions since Dec 3, 2024. Does anyone else have a similar experience? I called IRCC just before the holidays but the agent couldn’t give any reasonable explanation as to why there’s no progress.

I did my finger print of November 2 and RCMP confirmed that the result was sent to IRCC Vancouver office on November 7, 2024. The current processing time on IRCC website is 7months. That being said, I’ve seen few July 2024 applicants that have received invitations for the oath ceremony but majority of us are still waiting. I’m sure there’ll be more updates from July applicants in the coming month. Fingers crossed.

Good evening all. Does anyone knows how long it takes for IRCC to receive the results of the fingerprint? I did my fingerprint on Nov 2 at Commissionaires in Ottawa and haven’t received an update. Thank you
