Indian passport surrender

Hello, please help me! They rejected my surrender application with the following email below. I wanted to know if I have to resend the application fee as well? My postal pick up and return fee is down the drain anyway but can I send the application to them via my own postal method and do only a pick up with them? Any thoughts? I also did not understand if they want me to refill the entire form because only the checklist asks for the "jurisdiction" in which I had written Brampton instead of Toronto.

I would really appreciate any help and suggestions!

Surrender Certificate is under review at CGI : 2023-OCT-18

Hi ,

I'm submitting the application of family for surrender indian passport in canada and BLS have checklist for Adult application . But not sure what documents need to include for Minor/Child application.

Please can any one help on this.

Checklist is the same for minor as well.
-Checklist (all pages)
-Application Form that you typed online
-Canadian passport copy and Canadian Citizenship certificate copy
-Original Indian passport and Copy of the Indian passport (current one)
-Proof of Address (Include parents proof of address)
-Photo

Although not explicitly mentioned, just include copies of both parents of the documents mentioned in red.
The copies of the supporting document you submit should be self attested.

Irrespective you submit to BLS Toronto or Brampton both come under Toronto jurisdiction i.e. under Consulate General of India, Toronto
Just use the purolator service BLS are providing rather than your own

Released to Purolator for shipping : Oct 17

Expected Delivery Date would've been tomorrow.
Unfortunately they entered the address with typos (classic). So I had to use Purolators online chat to update the delivery address ... so probably 1-2 day delay.
