Should be fine in Toronto. The security only checks the name against a list he has and BLS agents don't care.

Time from receipt at consulate to Ack is also a critical number at least in Toronto as its not fast. It has been 13 days for a while, has gone up to 15 or 16 and is climbing. Last November it went up as much as 20 days, almost the same as Ack to process. Ack to process in Toronto is very steady at 21-22 days and pretty predictable as its lower bound is 20 and Toronto is acting fast after that 20 day mandatory wait.
A few days spent in signing and stamping the OCI and passing on to BLS is also dependent on the workload at the consulate.
In the end, what matters is when one is likely to get the OCI in hand after submitting the application to BLS. That's what I'm tracking. And I'm not changing anything.
As I said no one looks at all those details -- just the name. Once you are in what you have is a token number, appt. paper is no longer required after entry. At least that's what I saw.

Out of thousands who are suffering because of these decisions I found only one person who is not Indian origin. All others who are suffering are Indian origin Canadians. Those who are in US are suffering more. They were not even getting OCI.
I can't find your previous post. When did you apply for OCI? where and what was your ack date?
Update : ACK date 25th September Brampton BLS. Still no update. Flying on Sunday. I am worried lol

VFS in US were not even taking OCI applications from Canadian citizens living there till 3 days back. Not sure what current situation is.
Lucky you! I mailed in my application to Brampton and they received it on Oct 11th. Still no updates
