God ... this is frustrating. I don't know if I can't collect my OCI with the new suspension notice. I know that it's in Calgary BLS. That's pretty much it :\.

What they meant is, BLS International's presence and operations in Canada only accounts to 2% to their global revenue. They are present in many other countries.

I understand they have presence in other countries but if ALL services have been suspended for Canada, then 2% is still too low for their global revenue, given the high number of Indian population here. I could be wrong though. And that's why I said it's just very unclear on what exactly they mean. The statement from MEA has also not been very clear.

Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi confirmed there is temporary suspension of all visa services for Canadians, including e-visas and visas issued in third countries.

I called BLS International - (647) 846-4077. Lady who picked up confirmed they are still accepting OCI applications and they are getting processed and the update was only related to Visa services.

Anyone else can try and double confirm.

There is a FB page - "Indian Passport, PCC & OCI Services - USA & Canada." where immigration agent has posted this.

Only the India visa services (including the e visas) have been suspended, the existing visas have not been impacted. If one has any type of visa to India they can freely travel.OCI services have not been impacting in any way
