Is anyone experiencing the same thing with ETA cancellation after being approved for a long time?
I will be traveling back to my home country after living in Canada for two years. Today, I checked the eTA status tool and found that my eTA is still approved until 2026. However, there's a message stating that my eTA has been canceled because I no longer meet the requirements and no reasons were provided.
After arriving in Canada, back in 2021, my status changed from visitor to worker, and I received a new eTA number with the same validity as the one used for entering Canada for the first time. But when I enter this new eTA number in the checker tool, it shows no matches. It seems that the eTA checker is causing confusion and stress for many of us.
Any insights or help on this matter would be appreciated.
