Unfortunately, my VO is in Sydney.
I remember last June, I used to receive updates every week. I thought that my PR final decision was very close. After receiving an ADR request on June 28, my application entered a black hole! It is in complete silence with no updates at all for almost one month!
I ordered GCMS notes to understand the reason for my ADR request, but there was not any explanation provided!
In summary, after my eligibility was passed without any issues and the criminality and info sharing were complete, rather than starting my security check which is the only remaining step for the final decision, the officer decided to send me a "general" ADR (general as stated in the GCMS notes without any explanation) to request my CV!!! I sent my resume on the same day, but no updates till now. It seems that my application was gotten out of the processing queue and I am awaiting my officer to return it back. This is my story

CIO Sydney is stalling applications at security stage. I also got updates back to back. Check my timeline in the signature, you will see. But post 5th may everything went dead silence till date.

Regarding my case, I am not from Iran, China, or Russia. I heard that they usually ask for CVs for EE PNP applications, which is my case. One of my friends, an EE PNP applicant, received the CV ADR request too 3 weeks ago. They only requested from me a brief description of my education, skills, and qualifications.

Are you from Ukraine? I think they are getting a more stringent screening now due to the active warfare happening there and possible war crimes might be committed, shady activities, etc.

This is serious. I spoke to ircc yesterday and I asked them why the delay.
The agent said they usually leave eligibility and security till when they are close to the end of the timeline for the approval process.

I doubt agent has the most updated info in these cases. They'd say anything to make sure people who aren't post SLA stop calling. It is more like repeating a script rather than a fact here. They'll either say this or other variations e.g. your application will be processed by 2024.

Why does the 'Updated' date change on the tracker without any change in content otherwise? Usually, the updated date only moves when I call them or they perform an activity like Eli/BG..., and the change is always reflected in the log at the bottom. I see no other updates either both in the Tracker/tracker log or GCkey.

I also had the same experience a few days back.
But I believe that it could be because I ordered notes last week. Though I am quite surprised that they generate the notes only after a week of ordering them.

Calling IRCC or for Webforms often gets an update in the tracker, with the log saying ‘we received your enquiry’, occasionally it doesn’t. However in GCkey I have never seen an update or GU for calling IRCC on the phone or ordering GCMS notes.
