Earlier (back in 2018-19) that change in medicals meant either re medical will be asked for OR current medicals extended.Hey guys found a weird thing in my GCKEY profile. My medicals went from medicals passed on June 19, 2023 to "We do no need medicals from you. We will let you know once we need "., My eligibility is in progress and BG in progress in tracker. it changed last week. I am little worried as this seems weird to me. I got some suggestions that this could be medicals repassing before they complete processing. If you guys have encountered this before, please let me know.
thanks for the reply. I think this makes sense my medicals expire on August 9,2023 (i took it for my work permit and submitted it for my PR as it was still valid). Just got freaked out with the GCKey update.Earlier (back in 2018-19) that change in medicals meant either re medical will be asked for OR current medicals extended.
Hi i want to ask about your application. Did you get your copr? One of my daughter has rare disease our medicals are all updated except for her. You said your medicals passed right? No additional documents? My wife have a rare liver disease, she need a transplantation in like 10 years or so.
And my daughter have an autistic Syndrom.
People on Facebook pages told me that there is no way our medicals will get approval from IRCC.
Well thank god I didn't listen to them, I was honest I uploaded every document, and written a letter to explain everything.
I don't know if my letter played any role, but I did it anyway.
NB: Sorry my English is not that great, I am a French and Arabic speaker
What does 'PACE' stand for? They're pretty punny over thereRROC has PACE groups that do their part in NOC specific assessments, localization support, etc.
Before PR tracker, an application with all completed used to sit in a queue for long time due to NOC, language, etc - just that we never saw it in those cases(as there was no PR tracker). We've seen GCMS notes where this was the case(all completed, no PPR/RFV/portal). What we don't know is "why", could it be that the final approval takes time at RROC due to resource issues for localization/NOC, etc or simply there's a queue of approvals to ensure VOs aren't overflowing with approval requests.
If you look at the confirmation bias in this forum, practically every VO has been called slow (Montreal, Sidney, CPC-Ottawa, etc). When in reality all of those have been proven to be fast and slow at the same time.
Think about it, IRCC Delhi has a KPI of 27 PR applications/week per contractor iirc, it would make less sense to send someone an approval email and hog their passport at IRCC Delhi for months while they wait processing.
Again, all of these are just theories and are completely baseless as long as we don't hear it from an immigration lawyer or IRCC itself. Otoh, from the lawyers that I spoke to have been very shy of discussing this as they understand that IRCC at the end is going to stick to their SLAs and it should be acceptable.
Yes, they got their PPR: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/may-2023-aor.796647/post-10498664Hi i want to ask about your application. Did you get your copr? I've not seen a single approval ever from RROC. RROC's primarily have been a support VO(usually involved in emergency situations like COVID or niche support needs like localization) instead of being approval VOs. The approval email usually comes from CPC-Ottawa or you get reassigned to another VO for approval. So, quite possible that you are hunting for ghosts here too. I'd like to keep an open mind despite not being able to find a single PPR email that says "RROC" between July 2022-present.I completely understand the fact that we can now SEE the gap between all complete and RFV is part of the reason and I agree that I've seen even Etobicoke people complaining when their file goes over 45 days.
But when all the data available says that RROC hasn't touched an application since mid May, the speculation is warranted. Especially seeing as this is a virtual office.
Oh I hope I will get updates soon
Hi, fellow South American here.Hello,
I am an FSW (O) applicant from Peru. I recently received the RFV email but noticed that they are requesting an address in Canada already. After some conversations, I realized it is not very common - therefore, looking for anyone who has received something similar - maybe from another Latin American country?
My current plan is to submit the address of the hotel I will be staying at and then hopefully once we have a rental/Airbnb to switch to that address using the webform or upon arrival at the airport.
If you are lucky, you'll get it within this week. See my two posts from earlier today, both got their PPR/RFV/Portal today.FSW-O
Hi, I got my all steps completed on tracker on July 17. Do guys have any idea how long would it take to get passport request?
Ok, Thank youIf you are lucky, you'll get it within this week. See my two posts from earlier today, both got their PPR/RFV/Portal today.

If you don't get it soon, chances are you might have to wait a bit more (could be a week, month or months).
