Does anyone know what this means? Is it a good thing or just shuffling work around?

This is in reference to your application for a permanent residence in Canada. Even though my file was already being processed in Ottawa? Just felt weird that they transferred it after processing everything for over a year.

You should raise a web form to ircc and ask them that why are they doing this maybe this is an error and tell me under what class you applied for pr

U are very close to pr usually they send outland pr applications to offices outside canada you will recieve ppr within 2 months

It has been over 2 months, starting to get a little discouraged again. I keep telling myself it will be any day now, but this whole process is frustrating. I just wish there was a good way to get an update instead of just waiting indefinitely.

Do you have any advise on how to go about that? Since we are living in USA would it just be the MP in the area we are going to be moving to? Or does a family member that is living there need to reach out to their MP? I've never done that before so just wasn't sure on the process.

Either one of those approaches will work. I'd prefer the one where family member lives, but up to you.

I did end up emailing the MP in the area where my family lives. He got back to me really quick and called immigration for me the next day. Unfortunately they told him they didn't have any updated beyond what I already knew.
