We received the COPR letter on 4/16, took about a day after they had everything from us. In our initial package we forgot to send the fee and the return shipping label. We just received our passport request email today. Finally after 2 years of being in limbo. Sending that info off today and hoping the COPR letter comes quickly and we can finally get on with our lives.

They wanted an updated generic application and family information. Spousal sponsorship doesn't ask for job information.

We received a request for updated forms, background check Last week, we completed those and then we received a request for an interview. Has anyone else had a phone interview requested? What should we expect from that?

I did end up emailing the MP in the area where my family lives. He got back to me really quick and called immigration for me the next day. Unfortunately they told him they didn't have any updated beyond what I already knew.

Do you have any advise on how to go about that? Since we are living in USA would it just be the MP in the area we are going to be moving to? Or does a family member that is living there need to reach out to their MP? I've never done that before so just wasn't sure on the process.

It has been over 2 months, starting to get a little discouraged again. I keep telling myself it will be any day now, but this whole process is frustrating. I just wish there was a good way to get an update instead of just waiting indefinitely.

When we did our FBI PCC that it said we needed, we went and did the fingerprints and we chose to have a copy sent to our email, we got the PDF after 1 week and were able to upload it. It is a lot faster these days.
