I am writing to address the work history section of my application for the OINP Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. As per the instructions, it is required to provide supporting documents for all periods of work, both foreign and Canadian, that are being used to meet the minimum requirement of two years of work experience within the last five years.
I would like to clarify that I have received the Invitation to Apply (ITA) and I am currently in the process of completing my application. However, I would like to bring to your attention that I have only accumulated 1.3 years of work experience in Ontario within the last five years. Prior to my time in Ontario, I had acquired 5 years of experience in the same job profile in India. Can I attach the experience letters from my previous employment in India, along with the documents for my current job, to fulfill the requirement in this work history section?
Do the immigration officers consider exceptions if I will justify the career gap with an explanation letter? I have 6 relevant experience its just that its not cumulative 2 years within last 5 years?
