Hi there
I just recieved email from a IRCC confirming my Permanent residence. My address got approved and have also received my ECOPR.
I currently live in Canada on Work Permit, so the question is do I need to do landing without my PR or will I get my PR card and then I have to do the landing.

Thanks

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Getting the PR Card always comes after (sometimes quite a while after) landing.

So where do I go for Landing. Can I go out of the country, let's say for a Vacation, and then while coming back do my landing ? Is that possible ?

If you are in Canada you need to land virtually.

Sorry if I am confused, but how was your PR confirmed? Maybe you already did the virtual landing? Did you already complete these steps:
https://www.canadafornewbies.com/virtual-landing-canada-permanent-resident/
`In the portal, to allow IRCC to finalise your PR application, you will need to:'

  • Confirm you’re in Canada.
  • Provide your home address.
  • Upload a photo of yourself for your PR card. This must be a digital photo or a scanned photo i.e. not a picture taken with a camera of a paper photo.
If you HAVE already done this, you have landed. If you have NOT...you have NOT.

Yes, you were 'landed'. Just have to wait for the card - although you may need to submit photos, or wait for insttructions to submit photos.

Yes, the strike will delay this.
