Looks like another 2 months wait for us with June background start. Waiting is the hardest part.

why 2 months? People with submission date was Sep 3 already got background check clear, we should only wait for 3-4 weeks to get it cleared. But anyway, just wait whenever it comes.
We need to compare the background screening start date, as it's being processed by a third-party Agency (CSIS). So far April start have been getting background approved recently (9 months). Our start date was in June so hopefully some good news in March-April.
i just triple scanned my notes. No such dates.
Criminality passed. Security blank
If you have ircc notes only, security is likely blanked out. You can check the date that fingerprints were requested in the officer notes. Security likely started the same day.
This is just to give an update on application. I have had background check in progress before and after i gave test completed since Nov 2.
Surprisingly, I got a fingerprint request letter from Montreal office like 3 hours ago today Jan 19th. No update on online tracker yet to that effect.
Anyone on tips on how give fingerprint in the Halifax area, it just any Police office or RCMP office? Pls help.

Do the send these request by batch? I just got fingerprint request from Montreal too. If you click on the link in the attached pdf file, it'd tell you the possible options for this
I got the FP request from the MTL office as well. It definitely sounds as if they work on applications by batches.
Fingerprint is to pass criminality so it looks like once you submit FP, your criminality will clear and BG will complete since security is already passed.
