November 2021 - Citizenship applications

My parents online status updated on Dec 16, 22 that their Oath Ceremony is scheduled on January 25, 2023.

I have still not received the email with instructions with only 2 weeks left.

How long in advance IRCC sends the email out?

Had a request for my passport back in Dec on Dec 15, sent it same day. Hadn’t heard anything so checked the tracker -

everything was flipped to complete (except citizenship ceremony obvs) on Jan 3. Tracker updated Jan 5. I guess I am just waiting on the oath invite now!

Picked up my passport today. 1 year and 2 months exactly since application.

Oddly, my tracker still says "In Progress" and Oath "Not started". I don't think this will change. Might send them a message, but seems like it's not a huge deal.

Wonder if it changed for anyone else, to "Completed" who got their citizenship recently?

Congrats! I had my oath on Jan 9th and it changed to complete on Jan 10th. By the way, was your oath virtual? If it was how long did it take you to receive the certificate?

Have you applied for GCMS notes? If yes do you see somewhere that they requested CSIS clearance?

Nothing completed for me
Applied 4 times for ATIP got two of them back in October ( nothing started) called my MP’s office refused to intervene saying that I am still within normal processing time. I stopped checking the status of my file , I do it once a month just to have a peace of mind and keep my sanity.
