I've applied on the December 17th but now realizing that the email for my sponsor might've not been not included in the application. Does the AOR get sent to the sponsor email? If it wasn't provided, would it be sent to the address on file or would the applicant receive the AOR? I'm assuming the email address would've need to be including on the IMM1344 to which communications would be sent, otherwise, it would come to the address that is used there. Would that be where the email would've have to been included?

We applied two weeks before you, also received pre-arrival letter Dec 8th, but no communications since then; no updates on the PRT tracker either.
I noticed you applied for OWP too. Did that get approved?
I am aware of two portals:
1) prt-srp.apps.cic.gc.ca (generally referred as the Tracker)
2) canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/applications/account.html (usually referred to as GC KEY)
Been on the background check for almost a month with no other updates, not even ghost updates. Some users have had their application finalized in 1 month, but I believe those cases are the ones where the Principal Applicant already had some prior immigration work done either due to work permit, study permit, etc. where their prior medicals, bio and background checks helped speed things up for them.
PR tracker has yet to reflect the last updates: biometrics is still showing as "not requested yet" and background verification as "not started", whereas the GCKey site already shows those with the latest update status.

Hey, is the portal for confirmation of same as the portal where we apply for PR? Should I use my login that I have used before or should I wait for IRCC to send me new credentials. Up until now I have only received the PR portal email asking me to confirm my information.
Kindly check your approval letter where it is asking your personal info. Copy and paste the template in your email content with filled details of yours, others (if any) and reply to the same email. IRCC will create, invite and provide your credentials for you to confirm your perosnal details, declaration and uploading your photo for PR card.
first step begins with replying with the requested detail for now.

Click the link and fill the info out, calling Ircc you can never speak to an agent, so only option is to keep emailing.
