Doubts regarding application forms

Hello,

I´m applying for Permanent Resident, with my canadian husband as my Sponsor. We are both living in Canada, where I have been living since August , as a visitor.
We have no children, or other dependants, and are now in the proccess of filling up the application forms, and have a few doubts. I will be applying in the inland regime.


IMM5669:

- I´m coming alone, anyone else needs to fill this form? I am asking this because, in the document checklist (IMM5533) it says "any member of your family who are 18 and older and not canadian must complete this form". I have no one coming with me to Canada. IMM5289 is even less clear


IMM008:

-In the section "Dependants", who do I have to include there? Similar issue to above IMM5669,since I am coming alone to Canada, and have no Dependants


IMM5532:

- Part C, 4: we are living together in Canada, so in my understanding I do not have to include the visits we have done to eachother over the years . Am I correct?


IMM5562:

-I am living in Canada, as a visitor, do I have to submit this form?


IMM5406:

-Besides myself, anyone else has to fill this form? I'm coming alone to Canada and my spouse is canadian

Are you aware that even though you are in Canada, you can submit an Outland sponsorship package. Historically, Outland applications were usually faster than the SCPLC (Inland) applications. Outland applicants do not qualify for the Open Work Permit (OWP), but...you can't even submit the OWP application until you receive the AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) email from IRCC regarding your Inland package. Some applicants have reported that they never received that all important email.

Basically, you seem to understand that you do NOT need to list any other family members*. If you have any children from a prior relationship, you would need to declare them as non-accompanying, but it sounds like that's not applicable to you.

Without locating each of the forms that you have listed, just follow the guide/instructions. You DO have to list your worldwide travel, including all visits to Canada. This is usually one of the places that causes more stress; trying to identify all of those trips since age 18 (or the last 10 years, if you are 29 or older).

*Regarding IMM5406, you have to list all family members (not just dependents) that you have, even though none of them are applying for PR; IRCC just needs to know who they are for `whatever' reason. They do not need to complete this, or any other forms.

Go through the checklist carefully. I don't think the travel history form has anything to do with current residence, but nationality or some other factor of the applicant.

Start with checklist. Then the full guide if that's not clear.
