@paneka penalty, how much did it cost for you to file the "Writ of Mandamus"?
And also, how did it help you and how long it took for a decision to be made since the moment of filling the Mandamus?

They charge money in 2 stages.
The combined stage 1&2 fee is $4,250+HST -----> $4,250=$1,600 (1st stage fee) - $500 (discount) + $3,150 (2nd stage fee). (please note they charged this price back in April 2022 - I am not sure if they have hiked their prices)

It took me approximately 2 months to get my PPR email after Mandamus was filed.

IMHO, this news has been floating around for sometime now, and the intended website link which you have sent is just to not dishearten a person who is coming to their portal and planning to immigrate or study in Canada, as this is their entire business model.

But hey I could be wrong, even if they are assigning the officers there is very less moment which many of us has seen in our application.
