Anyone done virtual landing

So once you have COPR in the portal and they say you are approved. Then you have the following if you are inland:

1. You are entered into a queue for virtual landing.
2. You get an email or in some cases a phone call to confirm that the PA is in Canada and some basic demographic information such as address, phone.
3. The agent changes an entry in the system to trigger the portal invite.
4. The application has a final review by an officer.
4. You receive the login info for the portal.
5. You upload photos and get eCOPR document.
6. Once portal is done, IRCC changes your application status to closed.
7. You receive your PR Card roughly 30 days later.

Its been exactly one year (Nov 21, 2021) I have applied for PR for my parents, since then not even a single update. Is anyone having the same timelines? Let me know.

PR portal the status is "Submitted"
and online link it says, "Application received".

Not sure what to do now? Any advices

Have you checked in the GCKey area? You should receive biometric and medical requests if you have not done them already. You can also request the GSM Notes.

Thanks for the reply, for me to check the GCKEY, I haven't got any link to attach it. No ghost email, no AOR... nothing.

What is GSM notes? how can I request the same?

True, you need AOR in order to have immigration records in GCKey. GSM is the system immigration documents in, You can submit a FOIPA request for the notes in your file. It costs $5 and takes a couple of months to get the documents emailed to you.

Did you check the email id you provided for the applicant as well as for the sponsor. No update on it? We missed out the first document request sent on my wife's email as she was the sponsor and i had put in a use of representative form hence expecting updates on my email but they were requesting an updated use of representative form.

Just an update if anyone is interested:

My in-laws landed last week at YVR, it was mid-week so the airport was not as busy and the whole process from pane arrival until they came out of the doors was about 2 hours.

You can get it from Passport Seva Kendra. I know friends who got it from Delhi PSK, not sure if Ghaziabad PSK does it as well, but no harm in checking with them. Here is the link : https://www.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/rpo/rpoPages/rpoGhaziabad/ghaziabadRPO.html

Even you apply to PSK they will forward to Police verification. It will cause more delay. Better to visit police station to get PCC.

Additional document request: 17 March, 2022(Request for IMM5768)
AOR Received: Jul. 15, 2022 (CPC - Mississauga office)
Medical request: Jul. 27, 2022
Medical Given: Aug. 05, 2022
Medical Passed: Aug. 16, 2022
GC key linked: Aug. 25, 2022
Sponsor Approval: Aug. 19, 2022 (Received the letter on Aug. 25, 2022)
The letter has below request....
Confirmation of current address
Passport copy of all pages for both parents - submitted in original application submitted.
proof of relationship (sponsor and principal applicant) - submitted in original application submitted.
proof of relationship (principal applicant and dependent) - submitted in original application submitted.
Biometric: Parents did biometrics in 2019 for visitor visa. GC key shows valid until 2029
PCC request:
Supplementary information - your travels : IMM 5562
CV/resume

The documents mentioned above in bold were sent in original application. I will send them again just for confirmation.

I dont have an AOR or ghost email to connect to GCKEY.

I used my dad’s email in the form I submitted. After submission i got autogenerated email confirming the submission. In the form I used the right email.
My parents had visit visa for 2 years. I used the same UCI number to check the status, it just say “Application Received”. No update after that.
If email on the file is wrong atleast the status on the CIC portal should confirm it right. But I believe they haven’t started our application itself
