Applied on Oct 2022, my dad had several years of conscript in China almost 60 years ago.

How about your case? Conscript or anything else?

Hi is a cop back home but high rank so the last request they ask was more details about my dad military background and we send it already that was like 5 months ago. So yesterday we apply for the GCMS

I got it. Please share updates if you get in future. It is very hard to find similar case to compare the timeline.

Biometric Request: 20-Feb. 2023
Eligibility met: 23-Feb-2023 and application transferred to Vancouver Office.
Medical Request and prearrival letter: 13-March-2024
Documents request: 14-March-2024 (PCC, proof of relationship).
Re-medical: July 2024
Medical passed: July 5, 2024

Applied Nov 2021; still, GCMS says "security pending." It's been total silence since 2023. All other formalities are done, medical is done twice, and we passed both times, but now it has expired again.

Anyone in this same situation ?

Yes, same - it feels like IRCC has abandoned processing our files altogether

Hey… IRCC is asking for principal applicant’s Valid email address…Should i keep my email address as their’s(when applied for PGP application i put my email address everywhere)…or Make a new email address for parents?
