Just an update if anyone is interested: My in-laws landed last week at YVR, it was mid-week so the airport was not as busy and the whole process from pane arrival until they came out of the doors was about 2 hours.

Does anybody know how long does the landing process take at YVR airport? thanks

Update on this: Passports were submitted last Friday and today the GCkey status changed to approved and showing visa number, so Visa issuance took less than 5 business days. The passports were sent through a travel agency to Turkey for visa pickup and the biometrics were done in Armenia, so...

I believe they meant PCC on the first line.

It usually shows up on GCkey a week after the medical is done.

Based on my experience it is one month.

It's been 2 months for us since we got pre arrival invitation and no updates since then.

Now it has changed to "submitted" again. it was like that for half a day. Hopefully, updates are coming soon.

The GCkey status changed for us today to Application/profile updated but nothing has changed and no letter was received. Is that case for anybody? The latest update is medical passed from June.

We got pre-arrival two months ago as well around the same time that medical was done and no update yet.

One more update, today pre-arrival letter was received. The medical and PPC won't be done for another 2 weeks probably.

An update here if it is helpful for anyone else, after almost 2.5 months passing the biometrics, the medical request came in today. no PCC yet.

Based on my understanding the medical request is different at each office, some request it same time as biometrics some don't, we have our case at London and the biometrics were done two months ago but no requests for medicals yet (same as couple other people). Sponsor approval usually arrives...
