Hi Experts,

I am planning to sponsor my wife's PR, inland, and my she's is currently holding a Government job in her home country(She's visiting me on Visitor Visa). Will this be an issue with IRCC if I sponsor her PR while she holds the Government job there?

Hope to hear from you.

TIA

Basically no. If she programs weapons for North Korea, yes.

Maybe, but not because she has a government job. It's because she has a job at home that she's planning to return to, right?

Depending on how long she plans to be in Canada:

1.
If she is planning to return home to work during the PR process, you cannot submit an Inland application. An Inland applicant is required to be in Canada for the duration of the process.

2.
If she's planning to return home before she has PR, she should submit an Outland application (which you can do now), even though she is `in' Canada, temporarily. This way she could return home to work while the PR application is being processed.

Good luck!
