I got the oath update on the tracker and mine will be on November 10th though i have a trip booked for Nov 18th , any idea what to do next?

It will take a month for you to receive the citizenship certificate, if you don’t have a passport how will you come back because during the oath you will have to cut your pr card?

Most likely.. My wife took test outside canada and her status changed to complete and back to in progress, after like 2 months they asked her to attend interview.

Interview is like 5 mins. Few generic questions. Like where are you now currently - when did you come back to canada. - did you work or study since you came to canada. thats all.

Thanks for the info. Was her interview 2 months after taking the test? I’m coming up to 4 months following the test with no update!

Yes, there seems to be ghost update on Oct 7th in my application. Hopefully, its good indication.
Did you also got the same ?

I think I got it too. Maybe that is just for everyone because they were changing the system. I had to reset the password and after I logged in it says "last updated Oct 7" but nothing changed on my ro application progress. Is that what you mean? Ghost update is the last update right?

Yes, there seems to be ghost update on Oct 7th in my application. Hopefully, its good indication.

I think it just indicates they started changing the system on Oct 7 because everyone got it.

For my friend it took around 3 weeks to receive the certificate. I think you need the certificate to apply for passport, hopefully you can apply for urgent request then you still can make it

Yes, but I got it Oct 8th, and I have a friend got it Oct 11

At first I thought it's a good indication but since everyone got the same date then probably it's not it's just the changing of system.

Whatever it is , I am taking it as reason for some happiness at-least, as for me an update is happening after 3 months

My file was marked complete a week ago Scarborough office and until now I didn’t get my oath invitation !!!! I saw many people got it in less than a week. I am not sure what I should do any ideas ?

Im in the same boat. All completed on 5 october but no oath date yet. Also noticed that others received it in 1-4 days after this update so Im also a bit confused. Scr office
