Alright, that helps.
So as long as for each of the 3 years, our combined CRA NOA incomes are over the MNI, we should be good, right?
Yes.

Thanks @scylla and @Naturgrl for your kind comments and clarifications.
Had a bit of a scare for a while but glad that I'm able to use my spouse's (co-signer's income) as well.

The statement below in this link threw me off-
Combined proof of income between the sponsor and co-signer (for example the sponsor submits 2 years of notices of assessment and the co-signer submits 3 years) does not meet the requirements under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Both the sponsor and co-signer (if there is one) must submit 3 notices of assessment, or equivalent documents, issued by the Minister of National Revenue. The assessments must be for the 3 taxation years immediately before the sponsorship application date.

Sorry if I'm missing the obvious.

Why would this statement throw you? It confirms what we said. Both of you will submit 3 CRA NOAs.

Just submit 3 years of NOA of both you and your spouse's. It doesn't matter how much each of you made. Just submit the NOA. (From your reply before, you made less income in 2019 from the 4 months that you lived in Canada but the combination of both of your income meets the requirement)

When I did interest application in 2020 by mistake I misspelled my email what can I do now any suggestions
Hopefully the Lost Confirmation Number Tool can help you to find your application. We know nothing about the tool at this point.
If you lost or forgot your confirmation number
You will be able to use the Lost Confirmation Number tool to get your confirmation number if you submitted an interest to sponsor form in 2020 but have:

  • Lost the confirmation number you received; or
  • Are now using a different email
We’ll post this tool when we finish sending invitations to apply.

Any unemployment has to be deducted in the 2019 income. All the details are in the instructions. Agree that your US income before you moved to Canada won’t count. If included in your taxable income will need to be deducted.

judging by the email address sending out invitations, PGP this year will still start off at CIO mississauga.
Don’t think this means anything. Believe this happened last year and then many applications were then processed through home countries. Processing times are around 3 years at the moment so this is along process where you get no updates for months even a year.

Has anyone previously used a primary applicant's expired passport for the initial application? My father's passport is currently expired and the earliest he would be able to renew it is in June 2023 due to the backlog / financial crisis over there. Would an expired passport / explanation letter suffice for now, or would that deem my application as incomplete?
