I've been saying for a while that 'getting COPR' (meaning getting a COPR number assigned to your file) is close to meaningless. It appears to be a purely technical step that is now done in the system.Nope, not sure if to expect early or might take some. Looked at few cases got COPR in July and still waiting for PPR. No two cases are same, so let see some positive news soon
Now of course all files get assigned a COPR number before getting the COPR. So there is a 100% correlation between this step and file being finalized. So it is not completely meaningless.
But it doesn't in and of itself give much information about how long it will take to get PPR after seeing the COPR number. Which is what I imagine everyone is actually interested in.
