It appears that your mother is in Brampton if you are applying for her renewal of passport in Brampton. She can not apply for supervisa within Canada. She can apply for supervisa from her home country only. You should apply once you have new passport in hand. Given she already had Canada visa she may qualify for CAM+ and processing time could be much faster this time around. But again it is not certain but there is a good chance.

Thank you so much for the response. I read about CAN+ and it does expedites the process if one qualifies so that’s really good. One more doubt I have and I tried calling BLS but no luck yet: do you or anyone know if we can get an Indian passport renewed at CGI TORONTO with a validity of 10 years? I did some reading and I found in one of CGI’s documentation that if someone holds a visitor visa etc on their current passport then if they are renewing that passport the new passport validity is only 2 years. Wanted to check if someone has gone through that process please.

1. do we need to prepare package with 1. passport, 2. passport request letter 3. consent form, 4. Courier/SMS request form ?
2. usually Bluedart person will come and pickup or we can go to Bluedart location and submit?
3. what is the timelines for passport return after stamping once Bluedart collects passport

My father has got super visa stamp on his passport just last week. However, it is only valid up to December 2027. Isn't it supposed to be 10 years? Till 2027, it is a long time, but I was just wondering why not the entire 10 years.

Applied supervisa for my mother last year and got the visa stamped. Her medical which was valid for 12 months expired on 1st Dec 2022.

I dont think she will be able to come here before that, if her medical expires I believe either the visa officer will reject her admission or will grant her 6 months entry and not 2 + years.

My understanding is to fix the issue we need to redo medical and have them valid at the time of entry, can anyone confirm how to redo medical ourselves? Do we just go to a medical center with old request letter and redo or I need to contact IRCC?

Probably because of the validity of your Father’s passport . Coz they can’t go over of your passport’s expiry date

-If I apply for a super visa from India now, would they be able to travel in December or have to wait for Super Visa approval?
- Will super-visa application processing will be impacted by changes in travel history?
