In the oath instruction PDF, it says:My wife and kid received the invitation for Oath today. Ceremony is scheduled on Aug 04. One complication though is I am relocating from Montreal to Mississauga end of this moth. Is that going to be a problem as in . .Does this mean I should reschedule Oath Ceremony now ?
Hi Ashbak,Hello Everyone,
Just checked my tracker and saw an update(Finally!):
Language, Prohibitions, Presence In Progress => Completed on July 12
Citizenship Ceremony scheduled on August 18
Haven't recieved any email yet but it might come close to the oath date. 3 questions:
1. Anything specific that needs to be done during the oath? I read someone explaining noting a name and filling some form as soon as your oath completes.
2. How long does it usually take from OATH >> Certificate >> Passport (Scarborough office)?
3. Is there a fee associated with applying for the passport?
Congratulations to all who've had their process completed and good luck to everyone in the queue -we're almost there! You all have been immensely helpful
They would provide in pdf attached to an email. I received it after 6 weeks.guys, i requested ATIP notes a month ago and then yesterday they send me an email asking a $tupid question. Anyways, do you know in what form do they send me the ATIP notes? like email or in the mail??? and when should I expect to receive it since it's been over a month already.
Yes got both.Did you folks get PM’s and Sean’s letters?
Seems logic! Though this can be unfair for some applicants!I had a client of mine an e-application submitted in July 2021 and got DM mid-july 2022. No oath letter yet. I assume it will be scheduled for September, and the letter to be sent out in mid-August. ( I suspect it's related to passport Canada backlogs and the claim they made that over 80% of applicants are applying for the first passport)
