@ElvisRamaj @ImpatientDragon you both are probably right about the cited figures. Let me point out that NOI takes time to turn into nomination, creating a “6k-vs-4k gap”. Some may decline the NOI, some get rejected for not meeting Ontario’s requirements, and a LOT can be assessment in progress (NOI issued, will be nominated, but not yet).

The 9750 target is for nominations, so the total NOI by end of the year will exceed that number by a bit. Most of the 6k-vs-4k gap now comes from in-progress OINP apps.
Ontario had an allocation of 8,350 plus an additional 250 nominations specifically for temporary foreign workers in intermediate skilled occupations and they sent 8,234 NOI in 2021.

So, we can safely assume that they will also send up to 2,900 NOI this year.

Sounds legit. Now that all-program draws resumed, however small it is, OINP could be on its way. Hopefully without CRS caps..

If you check 2020 OINP year end results, out of the 9k NOI's they nominated around 2.3k only under all express entry streams which means almost 7k NOI's didn't receive nominations. Rest all of the nominations went to their paper based streams and I am sure 2021 results will be the same.

NOI's is not equal to nominations, OINP can decide to just focus on their paper based streams for the rest of the year which looks to be the trend.

Thinking about how a few of us with RROC as a visa office are facing delays across the board, it got me thinking:

What's the "landed" immigrant quota so far for 2022? Is IRCC near completion?

Given that the current service standard is set at approximately 26 months, I don't see why they couldn't just postpone our application finalization until early next year. That is, I'm already mentally preparing for a second round of ADRs, remeds, etc.

You are right about NOI not being equal to nominations, but NOIs of one year precede the next years nominations. Also, in 2020 they sent 9,082 NOI to candidates in the Express Entry pool.

Either way, I have no luck with Ontario whatsoever. Eligible for two streams, picked by none.

The target quota for Federal High Skilled is 55,900. Low range 52,000 and high range 64,000.

Completed my landing today morning in Toronto- the actual immigration interview was very straightforward, all I was asked was the questions on the COPR, how much cash I was carrying and an address to send the PR card to (I told them that I'll provide an address online after I get an apartment here). The line was long today, the entire process took about 1.5 hrs. solely due to the line. Good luck to everyone on this forum, thank you for all the help provided and for all the discussions we've had. Thanks especially to @ImpatientAlligator @RSub @PRANIT01.
Welcome aboard!

Settling or heading back?

To all who have already landed in CANADA after receiving CoPR. Are you guys feeling "Immigration PTSD" after such a long waiting experience?

Symptoms may include checking all the websites you used to check before getting PPR after 4 weeks of landing.
Well, I visit this one from time to time. But I don't refresh the IRCC portal every five minutes like a madman anymore. And I have unfollowed Sean Fraser on Twitter.

Guess I'll be more active on this website in 3 years time, in a different section :)

They could do that. But they could also still be working on your app just not as rapidly as RROC implies.
My file was moved to RROC, I got two waves of ADRs in March and then silence (my profile still says "your action is required" to this day) before getting PPR in June.

You're still on track

Reassuring, thanks for the input! Hope they're indeed working on my app.

Imagine that, holding 39% of the population, but being allocated a quota of 9,750 people to chose from.

Too bad for them, the Canadian government is focused elsewhere, probably planning a Sri Lankan Express Entry by autumn.
Well, we cannot ignore. This may actually replace Ukraine PR sales until next crisis occurs somewhere.
