July draw predictions

Wouldn't be surprised but that is still a 17 point drop from the previous draw, which is good. It will slowly get down to 557, 540, 530, 522, and then every point down from there will be very slow, 510, 509, 508, and forget the 400s.... (if they keep the draws how they did the 6th July draw)
The thing is, we don't know how many people are there with 550+ or 540+ points, but I assume fewer than 510 or 501 points. So it's not surprising for a score to drop 17 points (maybe? Hopefully?) The drop will slow down as they get down to scores that have more people.

with 504 under cec, then I don't seem to have chances this year
Why do you say so? It might be, depending on the draw size (even a slightly bigger draw, 2000 people, would help).

I think the lawyers predicted it would go down to 501-510 in the fall. Of course, it's anyone's guess but I do think there's a chance for this year.

Another thing... This draw was unusual because in the two weeks between June 20th and July 6th, there were 700+ new people over 501 points. That never happened before. The jump is typically 150-400 new people (with 300 being an average). Not sure if people waited for the draw to join, or if people faked their score, but it was unusual. I hope this trend doesn't continue.

Might have been people waiting to submit their profiles in anticipation of the first draw. Just a speculation

If they have a profile ready they should enter the pool as early as possible due to the tie-breaking rule. It makes 0 sence to enter right before the draw.

I agree, but who knows. Could it be because graduates have completed their one year of experience around this time? I do think upcoming draw had something to do with that. It was unusual to get so many new people in two weeks (I checked stats, and it didn't happen before.)

Hey guys,

Need some guidance. Not able to claim points under CRS arranged employment for my ICT work permit. I already completed 1 year of stay in Canada.
Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the current work permit? Help

5 options:
Yes
No
No - My Work permit is exempt from an LMIA due to an International Agreement
No - My Work permit is exempt from an LMIA due to a Federal Provincial Agreement
No - My Work permit is exempt from an LMIA for other reasons and employer specific

I mentioned as `No - My Work permit is exempt from an LMIA for other reasons and employer specific` earlier.

Please help.

CEC candidates that have both Canadian and foreign experience will get an additional 50 that pushes them over 550. Imo it's more likely for CEC candidates to get over 550 than FSW because of the bonus 30 points. And of course it's very hard there are very few people who are above 550, only a few hundreds and that's the accumulated total for the last 9 months.
I have 2+ years of Canadian experience and overall 12 years of experience ( 5 years in US and 5 in India), with 34 age , valid job offer and perfect 10 in English, I am at 508. I am trying to have my wife give celpip in order to increase the score further but that will probably take it to 512-520 range depending on her score , so I am no where near 550

That's the correct choice... even I have selected the same, but you need to ensure other questions are answered correctly like job being seasonal or not, same employer on the work permit who issued you the letter etc. Just check all the questions and if they are rightly answered you should see 50 points for the job offer.

I have similar question. I am currently working under noc 2112 in Canada since september 2021. In September 2021, i had positive lmia and my current work permit, and job offer obviously. my questions:

1. Can I claim and get points for Valid job offer in Canada?
2. If yes, Is there anything I should ask my employer to do for me so that I can claim this? or can I still use the same job offer I got last year September?

I wanted to clarify this because I didn't claim that I have valid job offer when I applied express entry under CEC.

TIA.
