Exactly, ON is a dump. We need to move to Kangaroos neighborhood in Calgary ASAP

I'm not west but I can pass off as one, we can infiltrate their ranks
Ontario is not bad to start I guess. Unless you got something lined up in another province. I got a job not long after landing, but there is much more bureaucracy and cost. But the first year is usually difficult anyways, until you get sorted and gain some canadian experience. So it really doesn't matter much where you go. Most important thing is starting a job, getting your docs, licence, and any educational licencing in order, as well as raising your credit.

To start yes but not to finish. I'm waiting on my PR but ON is not worth it overall. My friend just purchased a 3BR house in Calgary for 600K, that house he wouldn't afford in ON for another 10 years. Lower tax, lower gas, lower expenses. The job is the hard part

Of course, you can always change after. Go where you can find work, gain experience, raise your credit, save some money and then move to where you plan to settle. One of the reasons Immigrants have better chance to succeed in CA/USA is their lack of attachment. They tend to move where there is a better opportunity, while natives tend to stay close to safety nets. So many of my coworkers here in Windsor have been here forever. They go to detroit to study and work on TN visa but then come back to stay near families, while an immigrant gets a good offer in the middle of nowhere and they accept it lol.

I did one like that, after the first interview they came and told me the next steps and it was like 5 rounds of interviews and practical test. I gave up right after.
Me too I think we interviewed for the same company lol ,the question to me was like pure technical with scenarios like
What if machine brk down in between production
What is supplier screws up.
This was the thing I answered try to find alternate supplier as fast as possible but in that industry there should be an alternate supplier and she was asking me what if there is no alternate supplier ( having alternate suppliers is supply chain 101) for me when I heard that face palm
Explain a situation blah blah blah
I passed but she gave me a take home excel test with 4 rounds to follow, I was like Really?

Hahaha, mine was like that as well. The first interview was already with the tech lead and he was already asking what to do step by step on several cases. And the job was for a jr. lab analyst, but it seamed more like they wanted an equipment specialist lol.

Hey guys, hope you are all doing well.
My profile got expired on the 19th, so I am planning to create another one today. I'd like to ask for your guidance, shall I delete my expired profile first and create a new one then? Or I just go ahead by create a new profile?
Because I can still see my expired profile when I log in to the system
Thanks, everyone for your comments, and sorry if this is (most probably) a very repetitive question

I didn't know you could delete an expired profile ! Not even a profile that has been previously transmitted for that matter.

Go ahead and create a new one.

Good luck !

I only hope that IRCC can release info about NOC-base draw asap so ppl can brace for impact and get prepared.. pre-ITA folks any thoughts?
There is no plan whatsoever about NOC based draws.

They just want the authority to be able to conduct those type of draws at the moment. The bill needs to pass first, then they will envision what type fo NOCs to include, will French have its own draws, and so on, which in my opinion can take at least until November to manifest.

Remember we just entered summer, so the vacations are ahead and I don't think they will dedicate any thinking hour to these plans during this time.
