Hello,

At present, the processing time for oath taking ceremonies may take up to six (6) months from the last update to your physical file. This is not displayed on your online tracker.

An invitation to attend the ceremony will be sent to you via email in due time.

Remember to check your Junk/Spam folders.

Hi, I have pretty much the same timeline as you, with January 7, 2022 ghost update and since then, nothing. Asked my Federal MP to query with CIC but his office got only the same information as I see on the online tracker and that "everything appears to be in order and to advance well".
It's been 8 months since completion of citizenship test!

Try emailing the VO who sent you the test invite - some members seem to have gotten update/response after sending that email

I called the call centre 3 times. Each time a different story. One told me the certificate was mailed and today the other said, it hasn’t been mailed yet. Their information is not consistent. It’s just another waiting game.

They sent me a RFI on Feb 2nd and I replied on the 7th of Feb explaining my situation (currently still outside Canada) and they haven't replied since.
I sent 2 webforms and their reply was something along the lines of "we have no further updates"
I checked my online status yesterday and it says updated on March 31 2022 but I see no update as such? What does this mean?
Today I sent an email to the email address that sent me the test invite and hoping for some clarity.
I'm unable to call them from outside Canada which makes it really hard to get answers.

Anyone on this group abroad and currently in the process as well?

You could email the office who sent you the Test Invite for an update

Can't say how long it will take to get DM from where you stand right now as everybody's case is different.

Did you travel at all during your eligibility period? It seems it is taking them longer to verify your physical presence.

It took me about 3 weeks to go from passport request -> ghost update -> DM, but my file is with the Vancouver office.

Based on the tracker, for Sept 2020 applicants, the average wait time from DM to oath invite is 72 days.

Don't worry though, you're not far from DM.

Cuba is not a trusted Country for IRCC, just be patient

I got an email to appear for interview on 19 April. I do not see that it says one has to be in Canada. I assume it can be done from abroad, for which I am right now.

I also states that I have to have all original passport but I mailed mine to the passport office for renewal and the passport office lost my passport subsequently. I neither have my old passport nor a new one. What should I do? If I inform them, would they reschedule my interview? (I have the photocopy of the whole passport, though.)
