Yup. Don’t know how. But I got it under 30 days all the 4 times. I keep mentioning it because I hear people talk about GCMS delays.
Well . . I had requested my 3rd GCMS on Nov 8th 2021 and believe it or not I still have not got it (going to complete 5 months in 4 days). Not in junk or spam. Even followed up with their official mail about the delay but no response yet. Have filed a 4th one on Mar 21st 2022. Waiting for that now.

Dear members of this forum,
Hope everyone is well!
I am planning to land in the first week of May 2022, but I have a few questions. I would appreciate if you could help to clear them up.
1 - How much of proof of funds shall I carry with me? Is 20k $ would be enough for 1 person? Can I show the latest bank statement as my proof of funds?
2 - My initially indicated city of destination is Winnipeg, however I will be landing in Toronto. Is it possible if I spend a few days in Toronto before I move to Winnipeg?

Thank you for your help!

Hey man,
1-I wouldn't recommend carrying 20k$ cash on you. Just carry around 2k and show a recent bank statement for the rest.
2-If you are FSW, you have right to land or live wherever you desire except Quebec. Your landing city means nothing. If you are PNP, you can land in another province but you need to move to the province that has nominated you and try everything in your power to start a life there. (or it may cause problems with IRCC in the future. Especially at the citizenship stage)

Thank you very much for you reply! I am FSW applicant. One more thing to clarify if there will be any issues related to choosing not to live at the initially highlighted city or province in application at the later stage of applying for citizenship?

As an Indian in the US, I'm already an American immigration expert. Just expanding my expertise.

Literally, most Indians as soon as they enter the US...

And when they find out that they will get their GC over their dead body......

Ah yes, another soon-to-be Winnipegger! You've made a great choice in destination.
