    PRTD for US Citizen

How did this go for you? Also seeing people on this forum mentioning American's don't need a PRTD, but I can find that anywhere on the IRCC website. Curious how it went for you.

Can I enter Canada by land without PR Card or PRTD?

So just to clarify - people with American passports can enter the country even without a valid PR card or PRTD? I just landed as a PR on May 30th and intend to go back to the states for 48 hours in mid-August. If I don't have a PR card by then will I be fine? I have an American passport and...

I submitted both. It wasn't too hard to get both for me. However, it is my understanding that you probably could just submit the one that has enough money in it.

Finally my turn. Just got PPR this morning. It came through as a message on my account and not a direct email. Might be because I am American and only need to send a photocopy of my passport? Getting GCMS notes will do nothing to push your application forward, but it will give you a good idea of where your application is at. No harm in applying.

Ok maybe stupid question on the above point. Would this also apply to spousal sponsorships where the partner is outside of Canada, or is this only for Express Entry. Any ideas?

30-35 days would have been two months ago for me. Thanks for the kind words, but that timeline is out the window. I have no expectation of PPR anytime soon.

I would not expect it in 30 days. Maybe before 60? It really varies.

It has to do with my duties, NOC code and pay. An analyst flagged it for review and I discovered it shortly after in my GCMS notes. I got another letter form my employer with more details and hope that will answer their questions, but we shall see. Definitely nervous. For the last three months I...

Its reasonable for sure. Just know you might waste the money, but if you're fine with that just go ahead and do it.
