Hello,

I recently got married to an Indian and my spouse is not a native English speaker. She wants to improve her English so that she can settle down better in Canada. Could anyone recommend courses/classes that she can take in India to improve her spoken English? - preferably a franchisee so we are not confined to a city.

I know that ESL classes are offered in Canada and to those who have got the pre-arrival services letter. However, we're looking for something she can pursue till I file her app and get the process underway.

Thanks in advance.

Really depends on her level of English. If it is at a decent level finding people to practice English with for free, reading in English, watching TV in English are probably better options than many courses being offered.

Thanks ... I feel there is a bit of work required for her to skill up. Hence looking for classes that complement watching TV and reading.

If someone received their pre arrival letter(inland application), can they get free English lessons with this letter?
