Hi all,
So this is my situation. I am planning to sponsor my wife who is living in Vietnam. We got married in 2021 in Vietnam.
I got my PR card in November 2019 (under the EE skilled worker programme). After a 2+ years gap from my 10-days ‘soft landing’ in 2019, I will came back to Canada by the end of March 2022 and start looking for a job right away.

We learn that it’s possible to prove how I can sponsor my wife, without the need of an employment history in Canada, as long as we have a proper financial plan to support ourselves (such as shared saving accounts/house properties in our home country, or even my wife's income, etc.).
Now our concern is to favor which option:
(1) We should start applying right after I’m in Canada (but still jobless)
(2) We should apply after when I get a full-time employment letter (probably with a 6-12 month contract).

Is one better than another, or do they indeed have the same chance? We genuinely want to have a fresh start in Canada together, as soonest as possible, that's why we are carefully planning now to avoid any future problems.
Hope I could get some insight from you guys.
Thanks for reading this. Have a nice day.
