your spouse/common-law partner coming with you?

Hi,

Im in an exactly similar situation where I said NO in my PR application to spouse joining, and my husband is in Canada now on Spousal OWP.

Im not sure if this is going to affect my PR status.

My points reduce if I include him in my application

Well even though they are on an owp now, once that expires you'll have to sponsor your partner, in the meantime they may have to leave Canada. It's just easier to include them in your application. They will still be required to get medicals etc.
