Your Next step after taking the citizenship test

I took my Citizenship test on April 1st and the citizenship status was updated to completed but on "Your next step" is says waiting on you.... I didn't receive any email or letter. does anyone else have the same issue as me ?

Yap I called the ircc this morning she said there’s 1000 of people who’s taking the test I told her how come some people they got updated nexts days said sorry can’t answer this question

I just dont understand the "waiting on you" status , I didnt receive any email or letters asking for additional info

No they don’t send any email after ur exam some of people they get cz I called and I asked they said it’s okay still show waiting on u cz still didn’t review ur exam ones they review it show complete it mine still not updated too don’t worry

If your test was already updated to complete and you have a new update saying "waiting on you.." it might mean that they require something else. Is there any information on what they're waiting on? Or does it just say the citizenship test? If it only says the test, you should be fine. If it's something else and you haven't gotten an e-mail specifying, you may want to try calling/checking your spam inbox to see if it's there.

No there is no details on what kind of information they are requiring. my background check and citizenship test status are completed and the rest is showing in progress and the oath ceremony is showing not started.

No there is no details on what kind of information they are requiring. my background check and citizenship test status are completed and the rest is showing in progress and the oath ceremony is showing not started.

This is saying they need additional information. I would check your junk email to see if it’s in there. If not, try calling them to see if they can let you know what they need.

I have the same message on my online tracker, I completed my citizenship test in April 2022 and have that completed in my tracker too.

I was requested for FP along with my test and which I have already submitted to rcmp for processing.

so in my online tracker it shows 2 things now
1. Waiting for your FP
2. Waiting for additional information

Do let me know if you got any further updates by calling them.

If you have done FP and submitted, wait 3-4 weeks for this message to go away once they receive and confirm FP received.

I couldn't get a hold of anyone on the phone so I emailed them. I got a response after 1 week. They said that my application is in progress and I dont need to submit anything. So I guess its gonna be the same for you
