Hello,
I graduated in dual program. The study was 4 years. 2 years in my home country, and 2 more years in USA, and after finishing I received 2 separate diplomas from both universities.
Will this qualify as 2 or more certificates, diplomas... ?

Can't you transform one of them into a 3 year degree? As in, take additional courses and get a qualification equivalent to a 3 year degree.

Unfortunately no, the program was full 4 years and there is not much to add to it.
probably the best option for me would be to get 1 year postgrad or master. its just too long to wait 1 year...

I am sure it is equivalent of 4 years, but what difference would it make?
As I understand for two diplomas they accept: 1) full bachelors degree (in my case 4 year degree) and 2) 1 year postgrad degree (which I unfortunately dont have)
But is it possible if I send both diplomas they could count these as 4+4, 2 diplomas?

So you're looking for the extra points associated with two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years.

Having just the 4-year degree is not enough according to your calculation?

You never know, but i doubt they would count it as 4 + 4. More like 2 + 2 = 4 year equivalent.

I think you could do a 6-month certificate and still get the extra points.

6 month certificate won't work. 2nd credential has to be a minimum of 1 year.

Your best hope is that the 2+2 gets a 4 years bachelors equivalency and then you will have to do a 1 year diploma to claim points for 2 or more. Otherwise, your current credentials will only gain you points for a 2 year program.

Do they specify that somewhere?

All i see from the wording is:
Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years

For the record, i think you're right.

I'm just curious where they state this explicitly.

Hi All,

My Spouse has done 3 years diplom---> bachelor's degree(3 years with lateral entry)--> 1 year post graduate diploma.

The ECA report summary says:
Bachelor's degree(4 years) and post graduate diploma(1 year)

Now how should we add this to his express entry profile to gain points of Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

this is interesting actually, if I could do 6 month course and claim second diploma option, that would help me a lot
