I got the Visa, apparently it was approved and sent 24th August but due to some mistakes from Royal Mail it was not delivered!

I would resume January now!

I used 2 sponsors.

1 works in the United states and showed sponsorship letter, visa documents and bank statements, the other abroad showed properties, bank statement and wrote letter of sponsorship.

I paid 1 year school fees and health insurance for my wife and I, i have equivalent of CDN$20,000 in my account for 2 months to the time I applied to cover the money needed for my wife and I required by the embassy.

I got the study permit visa and my wife got the open work permit.

3)my sponsor is also in america(my maternal uncle)..so, in spite of that,will i have to have about CAD$ 20000 in my parents or my own account?

I submitted all my education certificates, both educational and professional from high school till date.

Their alot on the website, just check and edit to suit ur self. I mixed more than one and they took the copy submitted.

our cases are different so I will advise you act based n your unique case. I had the monies in my account and the reason why it was that much is bcos u are to have CDN$10,000 for urself and CDN$4,000 for ur dependent and CDN$3,000 for any additional dependent as indicated on their website. On the UK website it says the money shld be in ur acct thats why it was in mine so check and see.

If you have deferred the classes to January 2012 , do you have to send your PP to be re-stamped as it would consume 3-4 months already ?
Out of curiosity, did you apply from your home country ?

I applied from the UK where I have been for some years.

My admission letter stated I cld register either for Fall or Winter so I do not need a deferment letter. I dont believe I need my passport needs to be restamped as I was not given a date to be in Canada, just expiration date of my VISA.

I intend to leave as soon as I can for the winter session.
