Yeaaahhhhhhhhhh I got the VISA!!!!

I applied from the UK where I have been for some years.

My admission letter stated I cld register either for Fall or Winter so I do not need a deferment letter. I dont believe I need my passport needs to be restamped as I was not given a date to be in Canada, just expiration date of my VISA.

I intend to leave as soon as I can for the winter session.

Ahh good stuff .
The expiration date on the visa will be calculated based on the assumption that you are joining on Sep 11 - Since it is now deferred to Jan 12, would you not have to get the expiration date extended ?
I hope I made myself clear - just a thought but maybe you can change it later too - If I were you, I would check with CIC.

I would say my concern for now is to get in and when I get there I definetly can request for an extension!

But would investigate.
